How It All Began

I have been riding and racing motorcycles for close to fifty years now, and the thrill has never faded. Dirt bikes, road bikes, race bikes, if it has two wheels, I am right at home. There is something about riding that nothing else can match. The exposure, the wind, the sense of being completely open to the elements, it creates a feeling of total immersion, a connection with both the bike and the world around you.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep need for adventure, to go where few others go, to see what waits around the next corner, and to follow the road simply to discover where it leads. This bike tour brings all of that together. It blends the freedom of riding with the excitement of exploring untouched places, and it satisfies that lifelong urge to seek out the unknown.
